Sometimes life with God is a challenge. We encounter unpleasant circumstances, we have to go through dark valleys and burning deserts, and sometimes we face “violent storms.”
Although we expect good and satisfaction in our lives, sometimes our path to victory is bumpy, full of obstacles and unwanted changes in circumstances.
Sometimes we suffer. We can be tired, even exhausted, by the challenges of everyday life. There are times in our lives when discouragement comes and we may want to give up.
In times like these, we need a safe place where we can pull aside for a while, find peace, and get back on our feet emotionally and spiritually. We need to meet with God, renew our vision, and take strength from Him to continue the fight.
We need a place of rest and shelter. We need a „green pasture.”
Where is this place?
We’ve followed God for many years, and we know how difficult the road sometimes gets. That is why we opened „Green Pastures,” a Christian recreation and training center.
Our resort is located on the edge of a tiny village with a beautiful view of the mountains, surrounded by green pastures, and is away from the hustle and bustle of the big city and hectic lifestyle.
“Green Pastures” associates with something good….lush grass covered with morning dew, sheep grazing and finding rest…the shepherd caring for them…. The vision of green pastures brings a sense of security and peace.
The Lord is my Shepherd.
In our daily routine at “Green Pastures,” we focus on Psalm 23, which is the key scripture for our ministry:
The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
He leads me beside quiet waters,
He restores my soul.
He prepares a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
He anoints my head with oil, my cup overflows.Surely Your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life….
It is our vision that the guests of “Green Pastures” will experience the essence of Psalm 23 during their stay in our beautiful and peaceful hotel.
